Copper Foil Glass Workshops

This creative workshop will introduce you to the craft of copper foiling (Tiffany Style). You will be given step by step guidance to create your own unique, hand cut suncatcher to enjoy for years to come.

Half day classes run for 4 hours. In these taster workshops, I usually limit the design of your piece to a max of 4/5 pieces to ensure that your project is completed in the time frame.

At my copper foiling classes

You will learn how to design and structure your piece, creating a template. You will cut glass, use a diamond grinder, apply and burnish copper foil, assemble and solder your pieces together including making and adding hooks if you want to hang your finished piece. I will guide you through the lovely process of copper foiling and you will create a small glass decoration or two.

I will provide all the tools and equipment, including gloves, aprons and safety goggles. I have a wide selection of lovely coloured and textured glass for you to choose from. You can bring your own design, or I can provide you with many design ideas and templates. Beginners and those with some experience very welcome.
